04. Eight data story types

These eight data story types are powerful ways to unveil the hidden insight in a database or data set. These types of stories appear over and over in news papers, in quarterly business presentations, and in technical reports and articles of scientific research.

They can be used in isolation or in combination with other story types to tell either simple stories in the first case, or more complex stories in the second case.
